Serial Fan Posts: 213 15-Apr-09 06:37	To paraphrase Sam Goldwyn, "Include me out of the group that doesn't like BATMAN & ROBIN." Probably my favorite serial as a kid. Definitely NOT for B & R, who were pretty sad. But Leonard Penn, quite buff at the time, looked much more like a super-hero in his Wizard garb than Lowery or Duncan... & his costume was cooler. Plus, have you ever seen a more complicated entrance to a secret villain's lair than the one the Wizard employed? Fabulous!!! Really made me seriously consider becoming a super-villain when I grew up!!

Serial Fan Posts: 1789 16-Apr-09 10:04 Thunder Rider	I didn't say I disliked Batman and Robin. I just said Vicci Vale was dumb. I didn't say she was dumb to be mean. I said she was dumb because she was dumb. That's the way the ladies were in serials. Best example is Joyce in The Black Widow. My only regret about that movie is that when we had John Duncan in our hot little hands that we didn't ask him if a key scene had been cut from the final film. At one point Robin says Professor Hammil can't possibly be The Wizard because he is confined to a wheelchair. In Chapter 14 (?) Hammil is walking around and nobody comments about the miracle at all. So was a key scene cut for (presumably) time? Shoulda asked. Didn't. Darn.
