Based on an insert from a Disney Rewards giveaway I received, it appears that ZORRO will be part of next year's wave of the
Disney Treasures collection. I thought I'd give everybody the heads-up. |

At the Disney Club, Zorro season one (5 volumes) has been out for about a year. The first volumes of season two were just released.
So the Disney Treasures collection will probably have only season one at this point. Quality is excellent, but please note they have only released the colorized versions. That being said, the color looks good and works really well here. |

Do not forget, that Disney made three one-hour episodes of ZORRO as part of his DISNEYLAND series in 1960 and 1961.
These were: "El Bandido" on October 30, 1960, "Adios El Cuchillo" on November 6, 1960, these two directed by William Witney and "Auld Acquaintance" on March 19, 1961, this one directed by James Neilson. Perhaps this is what we will see in 2009. |

Actually there were four one hour Zorro episodes. The one that The Lightning failed to mentioned was "The Postponed Wedding" aired for the first
time 1-1-1961.
