Don't ask me why I continue to do this sort of thing but here is a peek at the cover for the upcoming HIDDEN DANGERS book which will be mostly composed of illustrations and stills from the copiously illustrated and unusually long original pressbook. (Not a photonovel, this one will be mostly pictures with full-length chapter text summaries and behind-the-scenes production stories used for publicity).
This completely forgotten Vitagraph serial included a weird Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde villain with apparent magical powers, and a gang full of hooded creepos that look like a cross between the Wolf Man of THE LIGHTNING WARRIOR and the MYSTERIES OF MYRA Black Order, which they no doubt were intended to resemble. Lots of large-scale dangerous literal cliff-hanging stunts appear in the photos and illustrations, as do shots of spirits separating themselves from people's bodies, and of a sometimes shackled and sometimes levitating heroine.
